Welcome back, you guys,
Happy June! The month just started, and I am already exhausted. I have many personal goals I want to accomplish both for my blog and my personal life. One goal of mine was to focus more on my natural hair. Just a little background, I have very thick 4b/4c hair that requires much care. When I embarked on this journey, I had no idea what I was doing, so I started watching YouTube videos, and the product that I saw the most was Shea Moisture. So I began to use some of these products, and they worked wonders.
In today's post, I was gifted products in Shea Moisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Line as a part of their SheaBassador program, which I will review for you guys. Let me say I have some new favorite products that will be in my new haircare regime.

So just jumping right in here, I received the 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Rehydration Hot Oil Treatment. Try saying that five times fast. I never had a hot oil treatment before, so I was excited to try this. For Hot oil treatments, you would emerge the bottle in a glass of hot water and let it sit for a minute. Once you do that, you would apply the oil to your scalp and through your hair to the ends. You would then put on a plastic cap to trap in the heat. You can do so for 30 minutes or even overnight as I did. Then in the morning, you rinse out the oil with shampoo. This treatment can make your hair soft, and the oil on your scalp can help promote hair growth. For me, it made my hair super smooth and soft, so I was delighted with that. I did use a good chunk of the first bottle, so yeah, be careful with the amount you use if you want it to last.

Next, I received the 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Rehydration Treatment Masque. All I have to say is THIS IS THE BEST TREATMENT MASQUE I HAVE EVER USED. Yes, I had to put that in all caps. So a treatment masque is the same as a deep conditioner which is highly recommended to use at least once a week. When I used this, my hair formed perfect little curls I have ever seen from my hair. I usually use the Yucca and Plantain masque from Shea Moisture, but this is my new favorite. I highly recommend this. Like I am not playing. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

Next, we have the 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Glow Priming Moisturizer. I can't say much on this since my skin is sensitive to certain moisturizers, but I let my family try it out, and they have not said anything wrong about it. My mom told me that she used this moisturizer after she washed her face, which brought the moisture back to her face. Of course, moisturizers already do that, but SheaMoisture is a vegan brand, so it's good to know they don't use weird toxic chemicals.

Last but not least, we have the 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Coconut Milk bath Powder. So what you do with this product is that after you run your bath, you add a decent amount of this to your bath and turn your water into an excellent smelling coconut milk bath. The aroma is fantastic, like it relaxes you.

Well, that is all for this post. Comment down below your favorite hair care products because I am always looking to try a new one.

Also, let me know if you guys would be interested in seeing a natural hair wash day routine or a skincare routine.

Until Next Time,

Samara
