Hello everyone!
I am excited to show you all my type 4 natural hair care routine on wash days. If you don't know about the different hair types then click the link here and basically you can see a picture of the different hair types. I have this weird hair type to where I think I am type 4a, 4b and 4c all in one. It's weird. I know. Let's just say that the more thick, course and curly your hair is the more you have to keep it moisturized so I have to keep a pretty strict hair care routine.

So if you want to see the products I use and how I use them in my hair then keep reading below.

Okay so above you can see that I had to cut my braids a little shorter because my hair is not mixed in with the braiding hair that long.
So it took me four and a half hours to take out all my braids. Two hours at night and then two and a half the next day. You can also see above my actually hair which to be honest had gotten really long.

So here are the products I will be using.
For shampoo I will be using the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Shampoo. Then for conditioner will be using the Mega Moist conditioner by Aussie Moist. Lastly I have the SheaMoisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Rehydration Treatment Masque ( deep conditioner ).

First I will be using the Jamaican Black Castor Oil shampoo. This shampoo has no sulfates and is safe for color treated hair. I only use a small amount because for curly hair shampoo is not the most sacred product but I did want to get away the dirt that had been building up in my hair while I had my braids in.

( I was definitely feeling it here lol.)

If you look closely you can see my curl pattern. Basically I have a head full of small, tiny curls that you can see really good when wet.

Next we have to deep condition. So when deep conditioning I apply it in sections and then proceed to twist it just to have everything more manageable and reduce tangles.

I let this sit in my hair for 15 - 30 minutes and then wash it about and proceed to take the twists out.

Lastly I apply some conditioner. I love this conditioner by Aussie Moist because you get a large amount and a pump for a low cost of around five dollars.

Okay now we are onto the styling part and here are the products I will be using.
I have a Jamaican Black Castor Oil strengthen & Restore Leave-In Conditioner. For a curling cream I have this one by DevaCurl and then lastly I have the 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Styling Gel.

So when styling I use the leave-in conditioner first.
I just apply a good size amount to my head in sections to potentially get as many strands as possible.

Length check.

Okay so I did not take that many pictures when I was putting the other products on but just in brief after I put in the leave in conditioner I applied some curling cream and styling gel as well the proceeded to twist the back part of my hair into the style you see above.

Note: I didn't do my edges so they look pretty weird here. Jus know I did them later lol.
