Hello everyone,
So today I have a post that I have been wanting to do for a while now. On Instagram I get a lot of compliments on my Instagram feed/theme so I thought that I would show you all how I edit my Instagram photos. My theme changes all the time depending on where I take my photos and what theme I like so I will just show you all how I edit my photos curently.

So if you would like to further see how I edit my photos then click the continue button or keep on reading down below.

I personally think that if you are a blogger or you want to be a blogger having an Instagram theme can really help attrach more people to your page plus you can definitely set a tone for your brand. For example if you are girly you might want to have a pink/purple instagram theme or if your into the boho vibe you might want to have a theme that includes nature, the beach and so on. Above are just a few example of some past themes.

Right now my theme is a little weird but I am trying to make a transition to an all white theme. I doubt I can really do that so for right now I just make sure that I have something white in the background to make my Instagram theme flow together.

Now onto the photo editing themselves. I have a few different tools I use for my photos like Afterlight for editing, Planoly and UNUM to plan my Instagram feed but the app that I use the most is VSCO.

So I already have some photos uploaded onto VSCO and the photo on the left is what I will be using as my example.

Starting off from left to right I first use the filter A6. This is my favorite filter on VSCO that is free Also it's safe to say that this filter is in majority of my Instagram photos.
Next I didn't happen to screenshot what exposure level I use but I go to exposure and set it to around 3.2. Exposure to me is like brightness so you set it high if your picture to be brighter or lower if you want it to be darker.

Next I use contrast and put it to 3.2. I really like the look of a higher contrast on my photos. I think that it's another staple of my photos.

So to brighten the colors, for example to make my jeans a little bluer or my shirt more red, I use saturation and put it to around 1.8.

Next I add some little details to my photos. I put the skin tone to 1.0. Then I put the temperature to -0.4 to make it more blue and the tint to +0.4 to add a little warmth. Other than trying to have a white theme I also like my photos to have a hint of blue in them because blue is kind of my color. Litterally my blog is blue, laptop is blue and even my Instagram highlight are blue. I previously did a small Instagram highlight tutorial which you can check out here.

Lastly, I put the highlights to +2.4 and shadows +1.7 just to add a little oompt to my photos.

Now here we are. The before and after product!
After this I would just upload it to my Instagram. While in Instagram I might brighten up a little bit and add some more contrast but nothing major.

Well that is all I have for this post. I really hope you enjoyed how I edit my pictures and hopefully I gave you some future inspiration.

Let me know down below if you have an Instagram theme and if so what type of theme it is.

Until Next Time,
