This post is sponsored by Express. Express merchandise was gifted to me; however, all opinions are my own. #ExpressPartner #ExpressU

Winter break is now here, and I have been using these few weeks for blogging, producing content, and updating my social media pages. One thing I was excited to do was to take some photos in a new location with a super cool outfit!

For this look, I gifted items from Express to showcase this super ambitious outfit. When I know that I will embark on a busy day, I try to make sure that I am wearing an outfit that I like to increase my confidence. It might seem cliché, but it works. When I wear something flattering that fits my curves, I worry less about my appearance and more about my tasks.

Now getting into the details, the base of this outfit were these High Waisted Denim Perfect Curves Black Ankle Leggings and the Blue Cowl Neck Cable Knit Tunic Sweater, both from Express. For accessories, I was super excited to try the Long Plaid Car Coat from Express as well. I have wanted a long coat for a while now because not only do I think it's a forever winter trend, but coats like these can keep you very warm. Lastly, I added my Mickel Kors over-the-shoulder bag and these nice winter boots from Target to finish the look.
This might be my favorite outfit thus far, as it got me back into dressing up and getting out of wearing the same t-shirt and jeans look.

As for photography, with the added time on my hands, I thought I could try getting some unique fashion shots with different poses.
Let's say I tried.

I aimed to get various shots, including a low camera looking up angle and a few shots from the waist up. As for poses, I went for the basic ones I always do, but I also opted for jumping and twirling my jacket around to switch it up.

Overall, they did not turn out badly as I like the pictures, but I want to research more poses and concepts.

Above is a short video that I put together out of the blue for fun. I tried to vlog the photoshoot and add some tips and tricks that I use, but it came out as an epic fail. I did not consider the types of footage you would need to make the vlog cohesive, but I tried my best and filled in empty spots. In the future, I plan to make another video to better highlight the behind-the-scenes action during my photoshoots.
